Sky High Looks for spring

 Quarantine had us in a slump, spring is springing and we are stuck inside. Then our resident ray of sunshine showed up and we made some magic in the studio.   We shot some of the new SS20 pieces using our cloud shaped set and light gels for an ethereal otherworldly feel. Times are tough but that doesn't mean our photos have to be.   This shoot was a blast and we had a great time! Hope you enjoy our sustainable luxury wares!

Quarantine Journals:  The Fashion Of Masks through the ages  For as long as there have been civilizations there have been life threatening plagues. One may argue this condition is literally just another part of humanity, our very own natural limiting sequence.  From as far back as 1347 to present we have been living, existing and otherwise cohabiting with various mutating forms of the plague.  With every incarnation of the plague came the need to protect oneself from the spread. Reclamation Station: Remaking a vintage Embroidered wool scarf into a sexy mini dress SS20 August Valentine Collection "Q"        One thing never in short supply at any second hand or vintage shoppe are scarves. Usually readily available in heaps for pennies scarves are a great alternative to buying lesser quality fabrics by the yard for far more.  In this months Reclamation Station project Ill take a simple vintage cashmere scarf and reconstruct it into a backless sexy mini dress perfect for a night out on the town.       I started by draping the Scarf over my bodice and deciding the way I wanted the asymmetric skirting to lay and how the back skirting would attach.  I then cut the scarf in half giving me one half for the front and one half for the back pleated skirting.  I then stitched the darts on the front piece, pleated the back skirting after measuring the waist to the desired size.
