 August Valentine FW19 Mystic Fall        Last weekend we got together at the shop to shoot the fall winter collection, featuring handmade one of a kind high fashion women's wear for this seasons trend setters.  No guilt, no shame all pieces made using sustainable design techniques during production by my own hands.        Channeling my creativity into clothing takes time, this being the case my collections emerge over the season instead of "dropping" all at once. Like a winter blooming flower as the winter deepens the collection comes to and end just before Thanksgiving. (you'll still have plenty of time to shop the collection for holiday parties and Christmas shipping dates)       Enjoy the first in our three series of editorial shoots showcasing the designs!       The Almost Fringe festival in downtown historic Point Arena, is a fun and entertaining local event here on the coast that features some of the many talented artists that live in and around the area.  Booths with local crafts and offerings line the main street and vendors are encouraged to make their booths interactive by planning a performance or display of craft at some point during the day.    The Farmers market with local grown produce is on hand along with local handmade jewelry, pottery, art,clothing and live music all afternoon long. Food trucks offer quick delicious meals in the downtown park and music wafts through the air.  So Festive and fun this event marks the beginning of the spring season on the coast, and is great for a unique family day out.   The August Valentine booth featured live model sculptures wearing some of our more elaborate designs.
